And yes, you heard that right, even AI can make hiring discrimination worse, despite being designed to make processes more efficient. From misunderstanding gaps in resumes to stumbling over different faces and speech patterns, the list of AI blunders is growing faster than a balance sheet error on a rookie's watch.

AI isn't always smart enough to understand every face or speech pattern, and it may even ghost applicants who have taken time off work. Accountants seeking work after a career break, beware!
